Hi! I’m Mey ✨

This space, According to Mey, is where stories live. My own, and some of others. I write about the beautiful messiness of life: from motherhood and navigating big changes, to subjects like gastric bypass and being part of the LGBTQ+ community.

I started this blog because I had my own story to tell, and I believe stories connect us. We all go through chapters where we don’t have the answers, where things feel uncertain and sharing those moments can make someone else feel a little less alone.

A bit about me: I’m a (new) twin mom, I’ve lived in different countries, and I recently moved back to Suriname after years abroad. Alongside my blog, I have a corporate job as Marketing Manager & I run Soulful Business Management, where I help businesses grow with strategy and purpose. But here, my focus is simply on being human reflecting, learning, laughing, and sometimes stumbling along the way.
